For metal roof replacement, we recommend Unified Steel with a 50-year transferrable warranty, and Tek Industries Hurricane stone-coated shingles. For shingle roof replacement, we recommend Tamko architectural shingles with Class 3 & 4 hail impact rating and only manufacturer hail warranty in the marketplace, Malarkey, which offers rubberized asphalt shingles and Class 4 impact protection, and Owens Corning for a more budget-friendly, high-performance asphalt shingle option, available in both Class 3 and Class 4 hail impact ratings.

Sixth Gen Roofing provides a Workmanship Warranty on roof replacement and new installation, in addition to the materials covered by the Manufacturer Warranty. Upon receipt of final payment, the warranty period is 5-years from the completion date of the replacement or installation, and covers water leaks resulting from the completed workmanship. The Workmanship Warranty is non-transferrable and does not include material defects which are normally covered by the manufacturer. Financing options include a 0% interest rate based on credit score.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Options

Duration by Owens Corning. “30-Year” Architectural Shingle Roof that is the most common asphalt roof installed in the United States. This profile is 2 levels up above builder grade “3-tab” shingles. Class 3 Impact Resistance (UL:2218) with average lifespan 8-12 years in Texas climate.
Vista by Malarkey: Class 4 Impact Resistant (UL:2218) asphalt shingle roof. Holds up better to hail by 1/4" hail size than Class 3 with average lifespan of 8-12 years.
Windsor (Designer Shingle) by Malarkey. Class 4 Impact Resistant (UL2218) and 140mph wind rating. Decorative hip/ridge caps optional for this model with unique color options and average lifespan of 8-12 years.
Tamko architectural shingles offer the most color options and 160 mph wind warranty. The Titan comes with a Class 3 hail impact rating, the Flex comes with a Class 4 hail impact rating and the Hailguard exceeds a Class 4 impact rating up to 3" size hail protection and the only manufacturer warranty for hail damage in the marketplace. Tamko shingles also come with 10-year Weather History and Value Assessment reports.

Standing Seam Panels - 24-guage steel panels with standard Kynar paint finish or non-painted Galvalume with acrylic coating finish (silver look), Made with steel made in the USA.

Snap-lock panel - concealed fastened panels made on a roll forming machine that snaps together without clips and advantage of individual panels being detachable.
Double-Lock Panel - Concealed fastened panels locked down by clips going up a seam in a double fold. This option is detachable after the seam is installed.
